Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Joyce Wong, DDS
Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Wong graduated in chemical engineering in 1997. After working as a chemical engineer for 5 years and becoming a mom, Dr. Wong decided to be a dentist because she wanted to work in a field that allowed her to help people on a daily basis. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. Her dental acumen and engineering mind combine seamlessly, allowing her to provide exceptionally precise and personalized treatment plans as well as an outstanding level of care.
Over the course of her career, she has pursued advanced training opportunities whenever possible to further expand her skillset. This includes time spent lecturing on general and cosmetic dentistry at Hong Kong University to Kanazawa Dental University students of Japan.
Her friendliness, enthusiasm, and attention to detail will quickly change the way you feel about visiting the dentist!
Family and Cosmetic Dentist
Dr. Natalie Leeson, DDS
Dr. Leeson’s mission is to help people understand that oral health and overall health go hand in hand, and she works hard to ensure that every patient under her care experiences the joy and confidence that go along with seeing their very best smile. Her approach to dentistry emphasizes a calming clinical environment. Dr. Leeson puts each individual’s concerns at the forefront of treatment planning and always hopes to reframe any fears or anxieties with a positive, encouraging experience. She hopes to make the dentist’s office a place where patients feel comfortable coming back again and again.
In her spare time, Natalie enjoys traveling, hiking, playing board games with friends, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops. She and her husband, Trevor, relocated to the area in early 2023. Together, they’re excited to call Austin home and make a positive difference in the local community.
Dr. Leeson is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and the UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, and Christian Medical Dental Association.
Specialist in Periodontology
Dr. Sara Elhusseini, BDS, MS
Dr. Sara Elhusseini graduated with honors from Misr International University with a Bachelor of Dental Science Degree and obtained a Master’s Degree in Craniofacial Biology from the University of Southern California. Dr. Elhusseini is certified in Intravenous Moderate Sedation and is also a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, which is the highest ranking in her specialty.
At Avenue Dental, she’s honored to provide lead-edge, skilled periodontal plastic surgery and implantology to the Austin community. She often impresses her patients with her exceptional patience and attention to detail.
